This photo was made in Bergen during my Norway in a Nutshell trip last summer, while the sun was slowly descending and spreading the dusk along the horizon. Standing at the harbour, I wished I could sail in that direction. I would love to have a better view of the amazing sunset and to discover what lies beyond the border of the sky.

Although I could not set sail on that day, I was delighted to be able to capture this moment. I even used this photo as the featured image for Prologue, because starting this blog is like opening a boundless horizon for creativity…

  1. This photo is somehow so evocative… perhaps because I had so many warm memories of Bergen too. It’s amazing how you have captured sunset in Bergen that way, normally it’s always showering that to have a clear day is nothing short of magical. 😊

    1. Thanks a lot. I am happy that you like it 🙂 I really had luck with the weather during this trip. Just a few hours ago, I thought I could not make any photo at all, because it was pouring rain.

  2. Beautiful sunset. I have been to Finland a few years back. Was planning to go to Norway too but couldn’t. Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture.
