Museums are interesting.
This place where we’re almost buying admission to take a break from our lives

These photos are my contribution to Lens-Artists Challenge #57 posted by Tina. She asked us to take a break from our hustle life and switch into silent mode. And there is no better place to do so than in a museum.
I also found these photos suitable for Frank’s Photo Challenge: Overhead. In the world of museums, you can easily find a chandelier, a god-like teddy bear, a paper dragon or even a polar ship above your head.
Gorgeous for both challenges, Len!
Thank you! 😀
These are gorgeous Len. Must admit museums didn’t occur to me as a break spot but you’re right, they’re a perfect answer! Maybe because for some reason I always have a backache after I’m through!
Hihi I know that feeling. It happened to me when visiting the Lourve some years ago. I was too ambitious and wanted to see everything. At the end, my head was ached and my feet were sore. Since then, I have only chosen rooms that I’m really interested in. I especially like large rooms where I can sit and watch larger-than-life paintings 🙂
A lot of museums to visit that I didn’t know about. Thanks for sharing. Do you have a favourite?
A difficult choice because each museum is unique. But if I have to choose, Musée des Confluences in Lyon is currently my most favourite. Great exhibition. And it’s complemented by a wonderful architecture 🙂 At the second position is Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, followed by ARoS in Aarhus.
I haven’t been to any of those wonderful museums and had no idea of ARoS, so I am glad I asked you about them – new ideas of places to visit. Thank you 😉
My pleasure 🙂
Excellent. I love museums too. The teddy bears say it all.
Thank you, John 🙂
