  1. You made it to Japan! It’s prettier at night isn’t it? Osaka I hear has a ton of Michelin starred restaurants, did you go?

    1. Nope, I haven’t tried any Michelin starred restaurant during this trip. This time, I mainly went to the typical Japanese restaurants – those that have max. 10-15 seats and serve only a few dishes. Although we had to queue everyday for our meals, it’s definitely worth it 😀

      1. Yep, I really like those restaurants too. I would totally go back Japan just for the food! Hope you show us some foodie stories 🙂

      2. OMG, you are so disciplined, I would just always go through my favourites first… 🤣
Can’t believe you have scheduled your posts all the way to August… That’s a long time to wait!

  2. Ahh so you just returned from Japan! Your photos bring back some fond memories, especially those of Shinsekai because as a matter of fact I actually stayed there, right at the “most dangerous” place in the city. I guess being Japan dangerous is a rather misleading term for it looked a lot safer than many “normal” corners of Southeast Asian cities. This post makes me want to go back to Japan!

    1. Totally agree! Based on Japanese standard, Shinsekai is deemed as a dangerous area. But if you compare to many other cities, not just in SEA but in the West as well, such as Barcelona, Prague or Rome, it is a safe haven 🙂

    1. Absolutely! I love the Osaka’s food scene: delicious and the choice is virtually endless. It took me a whole day just to “sample” foods around Namba 🙂

  3. I would love to experience Japan and Osaka would be on the top of my list. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
